Long time no see, uh?

TL;DR my pc died around march. Like, dead for good. It literally exploded. Since art commissions are my only income it required me a lot of months to buy a new pc that could run SL... and in late november i finally succedeed!

So yes, i'm basically back more than one month ago but i decided to start to take pics again just now because a mix of low mood/being busy with commissions/lazines.

BUT I'M BACK (if anyone is interested :°D) and i'll keep blogging and doing pictures for my own amusement... and i also plan to revamp my SL Sketch commission too.

[A basket case]

Quick post, because i'll be at friend's place for some day (i really, REALLY NEED to get out of here) and i wanted to update the blog before leaving :D
I wanted to do a Breakfst club-themed picture for a while, and i took the chance a few nights ago because i was feeling an outcast, as usual :°D
I've never been a social animal in both lives; usually it's ok for me, i'm a lone wolf, but it wasn't in the past, especially when i was a teenager. And sometimes my inner seventeen y/o comes out, because i always see people i admire (IRL in the freelance artists groups i'm in, or fellow SLers i i follow on Flikr) doing stuff together like pictures and everything... and as long as i would like to join i don't have the balls to do it - because i'm socially awkward (and... some pc limits when it comes to pictures).
So yeah, i finally did this pictures in wich i tried to dress myself like Ally Sheedy (the "basket case") in the movie (that is one of my fav, tbh).
TL;DR i'm a forever and ever basket case :°D



The credits for the outfit are the same as this post, except for few things: hair (i added a bang from an old Lamb's hair), skirt (that is actually the Ballerina dress from Neve) and shoes (from Sn@tch).
The set is actually made by myself ina random sandbox; you can find those lockers on the marketplace for just 5L. And the pose was handmade.

Long time no see, uh?
But the latest weeks were HELL, and i just want to forget about it. Btw now i should be free from stress - at least i hope.
And what's better of a (late) Strawberry Singh's monday meme to back in business?
When i saw the theme, TV Show, i knew i HAD to partecipate! I'm a huge tv show maniac, and i've had no doubt in wich show recreate: Firefly. And of course the character i chose was my beloved River.
I have to say it was a bit difficult at first, because i couldn't find a location that could resemble the Serenity ship, or clothes similar to one of River's tv show outfits... so i "cheated" and i used my fav ColdLogic dress to recreate a similar look to the outfit she had in Serenity, the movie that ends the serie. It's like the third time in a row that i use this dress, but i can't help it, i love the way it looks on my avatar.
Also, looking at my human-self it gives me an uncanny valley feeling, in almost eight years i never been human :°D

Hi there, long time no see uh? A whole month...
January was a pretty busy month, with friends (finally) over at my place and a lots of works and comic panels to finish, so i really didn't had the time to log IW. I'm sorry for my sponsor, i'm the worst blog ever ;_;

My beloved Faina (La Malvada Mujer) is one of the designers that takes part to the fair, and has sent me her stuff... and i'm in awe! Her piece is called Elisabeth, inspired by the main character from the comic End by Barbara Canepa&Anna Merli! I love Barbara Canepa's work, and when Faina told me her choice i was really happy!
Her stuff are made from the Elisabeth skin and shape (with appliers for The Mesh Project's body, two skin option, brows and five tattoo option), and, sold separately, Elisabeth dress in four colors (original mesh <3 ). There's also the little Elisabeth's dragonfly!
